These terms govern your use of Markoten, operated by Georgios Trochidis, a sole trader based in Giannitsa, Greece. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Markoten is a directory of subscription software. You can browse listings, compare them, and ask us to put you in touch with a seller about a product.
We do not sell software and we do not take payment for it. Any purchase or subscription is a contract between you and the seller, on their own terms. We are not a party to it, we do not deliver the software, and we cannot activate, suspend or refund it.
Some listings are marked unclaimed. We compiled those from publicly available information. The seller has not reviewed them, has no relationship with us, and has not endorsed us in any way. Product names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the product.
Prices, features and setup times on an unclaimed listing may be out of date or wrong. Always check the seller’s own site before relying on anything. A seller who controls a product’s domain can claim the listing and correct it, or ask us to remove it.
When you send a request, we pass your name, email address and anything else you write to the seller of that product, so they can respond. We only do this if you tick the consent box. We cannot promise the seller will reply, accept you as a customer, or offer any particular price.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details safe. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country.
To claim a listing you must prove you control the product’s domain by publishing a record we give you in its DNS. Claiming a listing you have no right to is a breach of these terms. Once claimed you are responsible for the accuracy of what the listing says.
Do not scrape the site at scale, try to break or overload it, submit listings for products you have no right to represent, impersonate anyone, or submit false or misleading information.
We may remove a listing or suspend an account that breaks these terms. Where we do, we will tell you the reason and give you a way to reply, unless we are legally prevented from doing so. A seller may ask us to remove their listing at any time.
The site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that listing information is accurate, complete or current, and we are not liable for anything that happens between you and a seller — including software that does not work, is not delivered, or is not what you expected.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
We may change these terms. If a change materially affects sellers with listings on the site, we will give at least 15 days’ notice before it takes effect, and longer where the law requires it.
These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Giannitsa have jurisdiction. Questions go to giotropro@icloud.com.
